The Tris McCall Report
Giving the gift of myself, since 2003.
At Maxwell's in November '04. Great show! It was such a good show, in fact, that I became blurry.
At the Delancey in February '05. I'd smashed my glasses in the early going, but I soldiered on. (They've since been krazy glued back together. Again.) There's Matt Houser on drums.
With Overlord at Galapagos, February '06. I really like this picture, because I think I look a little like Paul Kantner in it. Hijack the starship!
My Teenage Stride frivolity.
Weird picture from the TrisDuster show at Maxwell's. I like how still Marc is standing.
At Magnetic Field in Brooklyn, just before the last Consultants show. Autumn, '05.
Mostly Marisha. I don't remember where we were in this one. The Northampton Popfest, maybe? Did they have a drop ceiling?
I was right! We were at the Northampton Popfest! Here I am playing with My Teenage Stride.
You can barely see me, but this is probably still the best MTS picture.
Sci-fi shot by Brett Whitmoyer.
The NJTs at a club called M1-5 in Tribeca. Sander Hicks put the night together. I have no explanation for the big orange fish on the stage.
In the Consultants/MTS practice space. Photo by Battlin' Brett Whitmoyer.
Emceeing the Mayday CD Release Party, and introducing Kevin Spyker on the steps of City Hall. I think I'm saying something really corny about him, because that was the Bob Barkerish mood I was in that day. He doesn't look like he wants to slug me, so I probably hadn't hit the punchline yet.
This was the rejected shot for Critics Poll '05. I liked the shadow, but I thought the image quality was too grainy.
Getting to Carnegie Hall, veeery slowly.
Unrecognizable to myself on the streets of Providence, Rhode Island. Check out the Jersey City pin on my lapel.
Critics Poll 2004 at the Hamilton Park Ale House.
